FNB Branch Codes 2025

Find the Universal Code and specific branch details instantly.

The Universal Code

For 99% of payments, you only need this single code:

250655
Valid for EFTs
Valid for Salary Payments
Valid for All FNB Accounts

Do I need a specific branch code?

In the past, every FNB branch had a unique 6-digit code. If you opened your account in Sandton, you had to use the Sandton code.

Today, this is rarely necessary. FNB (First National Bank) has centralized their system. Whether you are paying someone in Cape Town or Polokwane, the Universal Branch Code 250655 works perfectly.

Note: Some very old legacy systems or international payment forms might still ask for a specific branch address or code. In those rare cases, you can use the lookup tool below.

If you are receiving money from abroad (e.g., UK, USA, Europe), the sender will need FNB's SWIFT/BIC code, not just the branch code.
